08-05-2012 - A AHETA – Associação dos Hotéis e Empreendimentos Turísticos do Algarve, através do seu Gabinete de Estudos, informa que o passado mês de Maio, não só teve uma taxa de ocupação global média/quarto que foi de 55,2%, ou seja, 3,7% acima do verificado em Maio de 2011, como ainda apresentou as seguintes variações nas unidades de alojamento do Algarve:
· Por nacionalidades, as principais descidas registaram-se nos mercados britânico (- 4,3%), irlandês (- 8,2%) e espanhol (- 12,0%). As subidas mais importantes verificaram-se nos mercados holandês (+ 25,1%) e alemão (+ 14,6%).
· Por zonas geográficas, Portimão / Praia da Rocha (- 11,4%) e Lagos/Sagres (- 1,7%) foram as que registaram as maiores descidas.
· As principais subidas ocorreram em Carvoeiro/Armação de Pêra (+ 24,4%) e Vilamoura/Quarteira/Quinta do Lago (+ 8,7%). Albufeira, a principal zona turística, registou uma subida de 3,3%.
· A zona de Vilamoura/Quarteira /Quinta do Lago registou a taxa de ocupação média mais elevada (69,1%), enquanto Lagos / Sagres registou a mais baixa, com 44,6%.
